you draw and dance and drink your heart out your heart can't give anything else you think that if you stop it's done you think, right now, of just yourself but there was a time when you thought you and me was all you'd want I took what you said and I took it to heart but you said stop and it was done I try to sing and laugh and drink you out to hide my sad quiet with a happy loud I never thought that we would stop but your happy loud needed us done but there was a time when you thought you and me was all you'd want I took what you said and I took it to heart but you said stop there was a time when you thought loving me, oh it wasn't hard but I took what you gave and I took it wrong so you said stop and it was done it was done

Artifacts 02:28
it's rained way too much this fall I couldn't shake this cold at all three long months of raspy coughs that kept my voice so small and dull I couldn't muster up one song about the love I had and lost such trying times left un-described for lack of any impetus because what good's a sombre tune if there's no convincing you to change your tone and come on home forget how I was cold and cruel I know exactly where I stand I know that there's some better man your shining star who owns a car a decent late-model sedan and he'll drive you 'round the 'burbs pick you up from school and work and as you go, his radio plays some song I've never heard but I'm sure it's one you'd love some top 40 piece of junk that I would loathe, but even so for your sake, I'd take as much but this is all that I have left just some ancient artifacts your smiling face so poorly framed by shaking hands on some VHS and that'll have to do in lieu of you it's rained way too much this fall I couldn't shake this cold at all

New Vision 02:30
it's a painful switch from black to grey it's value mostly in the name the turning of a century to be rid of old hauntings but I was disappointed by how little really changed broken windows to a broken soul replace semi-annual protection from the lively beams subjected voluntarily but I was disappointed by how little they all mean the invention of a milestone rotating places you call home but you will not incur a fee this new vision's complimentary but I was disappointed by its weak effect on me purchase its weak effect on me

Noble 03:53
"boy's on a mission" how he's tearing down the platform fresh off his first transfer with three more until her dorm she's crying watching cartoons on a bed covered in stuffed toys with everything she's losing, she's turning to her oldest joys it might well be thought that he's rushing to show her support but that would be wrong no, he's not so noble "boy's on a mission" and he really thinks he's doing right but it's just a ruse, a poor excuse to spend the night he watches while she's talking but he's not really listening just hoping more time passes so he might get an opening he does want to help but still notices her legs in those shorts he knows that it's wrong but he's not so noble a million conversations lost for a night on your floor but it's not so wrong because I was not so noble I was not so noble

we're coming up fast on the end and the stars have grown weary but everyone who bought a ticket won't appreciate them sitting but what are they owed? our strategy or their show? there's no way to know the best way to go no one likes questioning Pop but his won't be the last word no, it's coming down straight from the top from the lips of Lord Silver and here's his decree: the stars will stay on their feet unless they're sickly then they'll earn their fee it's entertainment: heroes and stories but with a bad ending they won't pay for it it's entertainment: heroes and stories but if we end badly... it's a fine balance between rhythm and rest

Quiet Eye 06:13
it's none of my concern how you're getting by but I can't help myself and I don't know why so through a telephone and with a quiet eye I only want to know that you're doing fine I won't make a fuss, won't make my presence known so please just show me what I need to know just want to know you're fine just want to know you're fine so with a quiet eye I'll see what I can find
